Overview
Lisa is a Somatic Arts specialist who teaches yoga, creative movement, Feldenkrais, and Authentic Movement. I worked with her to overhaul her outdated website she had been wanting to revamp for years, but felt daunted to take on.

The Process
1. Understand
I met with Lisa to discuss her website goals, frustrations, and ideas. We spoke about her business as a whole and looked at sites she admired.
2. Analyze
I then conducted an audit of her existing website to get a deeper sense of her messaging, style, and setbacks. The site displayed key information about her services and experience, but the format was indeed outdated and the pages had large blocks of text with minimal visuals.
3. Design
With a clearer understanding of Lisa’s objectives and obstacles, I laid out tentative wireframes and collaboratively worked with Lisa on drafting revised content for the site.
4. Develop
I built the new website through Square’s Weebly interface to meet Lisa’s e-commerce needs. The process entailed page builds, domain migration and photo selection/editing.
5. Finesse
After launching the site, I continued working with Lisa to tweak the interface and build new sections to meet her evolving needs.

The Outcome
Kelsey’s overall design captures my love of the natural world and uses that to create what is for me a living, breathing, document of the diversity of my somatic work and life.
I am thrilled with the site she designed and created for me. She codified, organized and promoted years of my work and training in such a vivid and engaging way.
