Media Literacy

What is at risk if employability is put at the forefront of learning one may ask? My response is responsible citizenship.

I acknowledge that specific terms relate to specific ideologies, practices and people. With such awareness, little words become gateways into different dialogues.

Like the large sea mammal, education is being hurt by those who rush by on the surface without diving into the depths of the issues schools face.

By integrating media literacy across all subjects there can be an increased effort to more deeply understand topics through diverse views and interpretations.
